Hickory Chiropractor - Back and Neck Pain Treatment
Hickory Spine Chiropractic - Dr. Brad Shook, DC, DAAMLP - Updated 12-12-20
If you have back pain, we understand that it can interfere with the things you want and need to do, and we sincerely appreciate you considering our chiropractic office.
Our primary goal is to help our patients get the right diagnosis, so that they can get the correct treatment, and get back to doing the things they need to do as quickly as possible.
One of the most important things we do is to help people determine what is causing their problem, and if chiropractic care is an option. We take your health very seriously, and only want the best life and outcomes for you. Unfortunately, there are spinal conditions that should not be treated with chiropractic care and that need to be referred to the appropriate medical professional.
To help us determine if we can help you, we take a detailed review of the history of your problem, and complete an orthopedic and neurological examination. In most cases, we will also take digital x-rays and special x-ray views that are assessed for spinal instability using a state-of-the-art spinal biomechanics software program to help us determine exactly what your problem is. Once we have determined why you have back or neck pain, and what tissues are involved, we will determine if chiropractic care is appropriate for your condition.
